Canceled sailings, labor shortages, increasing inflation, and airport congestion are all causing issues within ocean freight capacity. These capacity issues are leading air cargo forwarders to focus on managing air cargo capacity.
Thus, there is a rise in demand for air cargo, although airfreight capacity is constrained by supply chain obstacles. Moreover, supply chains are currently experiencing delivery delays, loss of airline capacity, and elevated prices.
Managing air cargo requires perfected communication skills for forwarders. This way, there will be more adaptability to utilize airfreight at its fullest. This improved communication can also lead to passed legislation that can reduce airline congestion and improve supply chain issues.
