The rise of the CO2 emissions calculator

A CO2 emissions calculator is now being launched in order for air cargo customers to utilize greener operations. 

Airlines are beginning to make use of this calculator and have it available on their website. This calculator will easily determine a cargo’s entire CO2 emissions in pounds or kilos. 

In order to get the cargo’s amount of CO2 emissions, the user would place the origin of the shipment, the destination, flight date, and weight onto the website. Then, the flight options would appear along with their amount of carbon emissions produced.

By customers utilizing this calculation tool, they will become aware of their shipments carbon footprint. This awareness is a first step towards increasing greener operations and reaching sustainability goals.
